Eric Czetli graduated from the University of Akron with his B.A. Degree and served four years in the United States Air Force. He was then elected as the Clerk of Courts, developing and administrating the eighth largest Municipal Court in Ohio for a period of 25 years.

Thereafter, Eric became Deputy Director for the Ohio Department of Transportation and was responsible for all administrative, construction and maintenance activities within the six-county area in northeast Ohio that comprises District Four. In addition to managing over 500 employees and over 300 million dollars annually for operating and construction projects, Eric’s responsibilities as Deputy Director included strategic planning for long term and short term goals, performance measurement, and policy development on both a statewide and district wide level. Eric represented and communicated the activities, views and policies of ODOT with representatives of local, State and Federal agencies, elected officials, consultants and contractors.

As the Airport Manager Eric brings a great deal knowledge in working with government officials such as the FAA and the City of Akron. He constantly strives to improve the airport and has an open door policy to any concerns to those currently utilizing the airport. He is a licensed private pilot and an active member of the East Central Ohio Pilots Association and serves as Finance Chairman for Aero Fliers, Inc.
